![]() I tried sharing a port and it wouldn’t work for me. ![]() If something else is already using that port number then you may need to reassign that afterwards as it still might not work. There is a drop down list where it says port number, you need to select COM1 or COM2. Select the Port Settings tab and click the Advanced button. Right click on your cutter name and select properties. If it’s anything other than 1 or 2 then that could be your problem. Your cutter should be listed there with the port number in brackets. On the list that opens up, expand the item labelled as Ports. Go in to control panel and click the System icon.
